The higher M5 Pro configuration of the 14-inch MacBook Pro, with more CPU cores and a 20-core GPU. This is the machine for people whose work is graphics-bound rather than just busy: 3D scenes, motion graphics, colour work and multi-stream video timelines.
What you get
- Apple M5 Pro with an 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU, so renders and 3D viewport work finish faster than on the base M5 Pro configuration
- 18GB of unified memory shared between CPU and GPU, so large scenes do not have to be shuffled between separate memory pools
- Thunderbolt 5 at up to 120Gb/s, so external RAID and fast SSD arrays keep up with the machine
- 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR at 120Hz, with the contrast and brightness range HDR grading actually needs
- Active cooling, so the chip sustains its speed through a long render instead of throttling back
- HDMI and SDXC on the chassis, so camera media and a second display go straight in
