A rectangular table with six chairs, for a family that actually sits down together most nights. The top is a brown plank-effect finish over a greyish-white base with rub-through, so it reads farmhouse without looking like a kit. The chairs are ladderback with upholstered seats, which is the difference between sitting through a meal and getting up early.
What you get
- Rectangular table with six chairs, so a family of six eats together without borrowing seats
- Two-tone finish — plank-effect top over a rubbed white base — which hides everyday marks better than a single dark stain
- Upholstered chair seats, so people stay at the table rather than shifting after ten minutes
- Solid wood, engineered wood and acacia veneers, a mix that holds a screw better than pure particleboard
- Ladderback chairs that stay comfortable upright, which suits a table that also gets used for homework
