A compact chest freezer for a garage, basement or laundry, where it holds bulk meat and batch-cooked meals. Chest freezers hold temperature better than uprights when the power drops because cold air does not fall out when you open the lid, and this one is rated to run in an unheated space.
What you get
- 7.0 cu ft in a 32 in wide cabinet, so it takes a bulk meat order without needing a dedicated room
- Garage-ready rating, so it keeps temperature in an unheated garage or shed
- Two slide-out wire storage baskets, so the things you use weekly stay reachable at the top
- Manual defrost with a drain, so clearing frost once or twice a year is a hose job rather than a mopping job
- Adjustable temperature control, so you can run it colder for long-term storage
- Chest design holds cold longer than an upright during a power cut, because cold air does not spill out the front
