A 5.0 cubic foot top loader, which is about as large as top loaders get before you move to a commercial machine. It is aimed at families washing bedding and work clothes in bulk. TurboDrum counter-rotates the drum against the agitator to scrub heavier soil, and the Water Plus option adds extra water for loads that need to be fully submerged.
What you get
- 5.0 cu ft NeveRust stainless steel tub, so a king comforter and pillows wash together instead of over two loads
- TurboDrum with the agitator counter-rotates the load against the wash action, which is what shifts heavy soil from work clothes
- Water Plus option raises the water level on demand, so bulky items do not float half dry
- ColdWash option gets close to warm-wash results in cold water, which is where most of a washer's running cost sits
- Direct drive motor with a 10-year limited warranty, so there is no belt and fewer moving parts
- ENERGY STAR certified despite the size, so the running cost does not scale with the tub
