An 85-inch screen at a price usually asked for something much smaller. It is a plain 4K LED set, so the money is in the panel size rather than in backlight technology — sensible for a big or open-plan room where the main complaint about the old TV was that it was too small.
What you get
- 85 inches of 4K, which is the size where 4K stops being a spec and starts being visible from the couch
- Alpha 7 AI Processor 4K Gen9, so an HD broadcast is rebuilt for the panel rather than simply blown up
- webOS 26 with LG Channels, free live TV and every major streaming app from one home screen
- Two HDMI inputs, one with eARC, enough for a console and a soundbar
- ALLM and Game Optimizer, which switch the picture into low-lag mode automatically for a console
- 2.9 inches deep without the stand, so an 85 can still sit close to the wall
